In a town with this many college students it is no surprise that there are numerous places one can go to get their daily coffee. What drink to have is not the dilemma so much as where to go to get your favorite coffee drink. Here is a guide to a few of your options. . . Click here to continue reading.

In Downtown, on the corner of Vine and Cajon, is GFE, formerly Redlands Tea and Coffee House. GFE is open 6am to 11 pm daily. It has a wide variety of teas and coffees as well as pastries to compliment your drinking choice. They also offer five types of Panini, an Italian sandwich, for those looking for a more substantive food choice. The layout makes the café spacious. There are large tables, perfect for studying or working as well as more intimate tables near the windows. The eclectic atmosphere makes it a wonderful place to spend time.

Jazz and Java, located in the Santa Fe train stationJazz and Java, located in the Santa Fe Train Station Downtown on Orange St, has a great ambience. Open 7 am to 10 pm Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 11pm on Fridays, 8 am to 11pm on Saturdays, and 9 am to 10 pm on Sundays, it has a comfortable and more intimate environment, with tables seating two to four people at the most. It offers almost all the familiar drinks of the national chains and more, including an espresso bar. Jazz and Java also offers live jazz the first and third weekend of every month. It also sells food such as sandwiches, along with pastries, to go with your beverage of choice.

The Bagel Peddler is a little removed from the atmosphere of Downtown. Located on the corner of Brookside and Tennessee it has the look and feel of a 1950’s diner more than a café. Booths line the windowed wall with the counter just opposite. Aside from hot and cold coffee beverages it also has a large selection of bagels from which to choose. It also serves lunch entrees such as soups and sandwiched as well as Italian sodas and iced coffees. The Bagel Peddler is open 6 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday and 7am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.

No matter where you choose to get your coffee, it is a guarantee that you will receive wonderful service and selection. Pick your favorite or try them all, and you will be treated to fantastic service, drinks and food.
